Birth support categories

  1. Emotional

    A calm, continuous, nonjudgmental presence through moments that may feel unfamiliar, intense, or difficult.

  2. Informational

    Educational information, help exploring your options, and support preparing questions for your medical team.

  3. Partner and Relational

    Within a non-clinical doula scope, comfort support may include comforting touch and massage, movement, positioning ideas, environmental adjustments, or demonstrating techniques a support person may use.

  4. Physical and Comfort

    Hands-on comfort and physical support when desired, adapted to what feels helpful in the moment.

Doula support can be meaningful before birth, during labor, and as circumstances shift. My approach is built around helping you feel informed, respected, and connected to your own choices. I can help you explore your options, prepare questions for your provider, and understand the general patterns of labor. And I can offer comfort, steady presence, and a place to be held emotionally and spiritually through your most vulnerable moments.
